Support for Jamie's unexpected health journey

On Thursday, December 5th, my best friend Jamie was admitted into the hospital for some stomach issues, but it ended up being much more serious than that. Early morning Friday, she developed some breathing issues which resulted in her being sedated to be put on lung and heart support. The doctors found that she has dilated cardiomyopathy and her left ventricle is only working at 5%. Jamie is currently still in sedation and had to be immediately flown to UPMC in Pittsburgh. The outcome is currently unknown, but she will most likely need one of two things. A permanent implant to continually help pump her heart or a possible heart transplant. We are still in the beginning of all of this so there is much more to figure out. Regardless, Jamie will be out of work for some time. If you don't know, Jamie is the sole provider for her sweet girl. She is a single mom, who works 3 jobs to make sure Taylor has the best possible life. With Jamie now out of work for an unknown amount of time, fighting to get back to her life and her daughter, she's going to need all the support she can get. Her personal bills, as well as medical bills are going to be piling up, and Christmas is right around the corner. Her family and I are doing all that we can to be there for her and Taylor during this difficult time. We appreciate any amount of support you can contribute.
