Support for Janelle Wright- Maui Wildfires

Hi, my name is Janet Hutchinson and I am writing to help raise funds for my daughter, Janelle Wright, who lost everything she owns in the Maui fires this past week. Her home was burnt to the ground, and she escaped with nothing but a small amount of clothing.

For those who are fortunate enough to know Janelle, you know that she is a fierce and independent soul who moved to Maui on her own right out of college. She was determined to build a life in the magical island of Maui, and live a dream that includes chasing waterfalls, enjoying her chosen sport of surfing, and working tirelessly to build her financial independence. She had just started to achieve that goal, as she had secured a home near the ocean in Lahaina, started the journey of furnishing that home, and living the dream that she has worked so hard for.

Her home was left in ashes, along with everything she had gathered thru her years in Maui. She has also lost her employment as a result of the fires. Janelle will need support to secure temporary housing and purchase necessities over the coming month. Anything you can do will be helpful and Janelle will be eternally grateful for your support.
