We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear colleague and friend, Janet, a dedicated and compassionate nurse at the LIJ Forest Hills ICU. Janet has been the rock for countless patients and their families for many years during their most difficult times. Now, she needs our support as she faces an incredibly challenging battle of her own.

Recently, Janet received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer. This life-altering diagnosis has come as a sudden shock to all of us who know and love her. Despite her immense challenges, Janet has continued to show the strength, grace, and resilience that we all admire so profoundly in her.

In addition to her health battle, Janet has also been the primary caregiver for her husband, who suffered a massive stroke two years ago. Her love and dedication to his recovery have been nothing short of remarkable, but now, as she fights her own battle, the weight of these responsibilities has become overwhelming.

Janet has always been there for others, offering care, comfort, and hope in their darkest hours. Today, we ask for your help in being there for her.
