Support for Jason & Cathy

Many of you know of my brother Jason's health crisis of the past seven years. This past summer he was finally able to secure appointments with Mayo in Rochester for November. He ended up hospitalized again in September due to a serious infection in the lymphodema. He spent six weeks in the hospital in Missoula trying to get the infection under control. There were two surgeries to remove infected tissue and he spent about two weeks of his stay in Intensive Care. Jason was finally released the week of October 17th and sent home with a wound vac. Home health three times a week to inspect and change the wound vac.

Jason's health team at Mayo is aware of recent developments in his health and is still planning on seeing him in November. He will be expected to stay in Rochester for at least two to three weeks for the many appointments that are set up.

At the request of a few friends and family, we’ve set up this opportunity to help Jason and his family. Once again, hospital bills are already adding up to more than $15,000. The trip to Mayo and stay in Rochester will add at least a few thousand more to their already overwhelming healthcare debt.
