Support for Jason Miller's Family
Donation protected
Our closest friend, Jason Miller, passed away unexpectedly and tragically on October 15 leaving behind his wife Theresa, and three wonderful children, Alex (7), Jessica (4), and Conner (2). At times like this, it is easy to romanticize the past or resort to exaggeration, but in Jason's case, it is not necessary: he was easily the most loyal and empathetic friend I have ever known. Anyone who knew him can tell stories about his heroics (again, no exaggeration) that were simply part of his routine existence. Kick in a door to save friends from a fire? Did it. Jump out of his car to stop a case of domestic violence? Did that too. Stop at the scene of a horrific accident to tie a tourniquet on an injured woman he did not know and save her life? Yup, just another Tuesday night. His enormous body housed an equally enormous heart and there will never be another like him.
His love for his friends and his willingness to help others is surpassed only by his love for his family. The purpose of this fundraiser is to eliminate the financial stress and burden on the family so that Theresa can concentrate on what is most important: raising her children and managing them through this difficult time. 100% of every donation will go to the family for day-to-day expenses and, hopefully, enough for college. Please be as generous as your means allow you to be.
