Support for Jennifer Ynez James' Children

Support for Jenn’s Children after losing their mom to a tragic car accident.

It is with profound sadness that I announce the tragic loss of my cousin, Jennifer James, who passed away in a multi-vehicle collision on I-35, in Hewitt, Texas on January 15th, 2025; just one day after her 39th birthday.

She leaves behind her son Hunter (20) and daughter Lindy (14), who tragically had their father also taken from them in a vehicle accident less than two years ago, leaving them without a parent.

After losing their father, Jennifer was their whole world. She was their sole support system. No child should ever have to endure losing their parent at this age, let alone losing both of their parents.

Jennifer’s love and dedication knew no bounds. She completed her nursing degree in 2017 to fulfill a dream which also allowed her to support her family financially. She was a beacon of compassion, both in her family life and in her career as a charge nurse.

Jennifer was a rock to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Financial donations will be used to directly support Jennifer’s children as well as help cover funeral expenses. All donations will go to Jennifer’s parents, Brad and Linda, who will now take on the responsibility of raising and caring for Hunter and Lindy.
