Support for Jenny & Tori

Shane and Jenny Hargrave worked together at Ozarks Community Hospital. We, the staff, are gathering together to support Jenny and her daughter, Tori, after Shane's passing.

When Shane, was diagnosed with cancer, Jenny immediately took action to support him and work toward healing. He endured many treatments but the cancer continued to spread. Throughout this battle, Shane and Jenny went to work every day, making sure that everyone else was taken care of, happy, and safe. Shane worked in security, and built a relationship with everyone in the hospital and clinic. Even when his health declined, he kept everyone around him belly laughing. Stories circulated about what an amazing husband Shane was to Jenny, and she was an amazing wife in return.

Because Shane's cancer was continuing to spread, traditional treatments were stopped. They were informed that without treatment, he could likely only survive for 3 to 6 months. Jenny was working with multiple facilities in hopes of getting Shane into a clinical trial treatment that would be completed within months. But, on April 5th, 2024, Shane suffered a heart attack that took his life immediately.

As Jenny grieves the loss of her beloved husband, she is also faced with financial struggles as she becomes the sole income for the household. While Jenny is choosing to continue going to work so that she can be surrounded by a support system, the staff of OCH would like to support Jenny and Tori further. We would like to allow them time to mourn without worrying about how they will pay for final expenses, as well as continuing to pay for living expenses.

Jenny is incredibly humble and would never ask for help. But we love and value her tremendously, and are asking for help on her behalf. Anything you can do would help, even if it is simply sharing this fundraiser.
