Support For Jen’s Stem Cell Transplant Journey
As of one Jen’s friends, I have a call to action to make sure all her Medicals needs are taken care of. Jennifer Novia has been battling Lymphoma since 2017. My heart breaks that she can’t just live her life and accomplish all that she wants to. Everytime she takes one step forward she has to take another step back. Jen is ambitious, courageous, caring , and most people that come in to contact with her can’t help but to love her and want to be near her.
In 2017, Jen felt a lump on her lymph nodes and was dismissed several times before being diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Jen went on to go through several treatments some aggressive and her battle was rough. The final step was a stem cell treatment which requires the utmost safety requirements and isolation for long periods of time. Jen persevered all with crystals, love from near and far, and a high spirit and drive to overcome it.
Unfortunately, the cancer came back and Jen tried methods of treatments that were better for her body but it wasn’t enough. She had to switch doctors and go through several new treatments, some that put her through severe allergic reactions. After finding the right treatment Jen worked through it all and showed us all what true strength is.
I wish that would be enough for my dear Jen but she still needed to do another stem cell transplant(HASPLO) and this time she needed a donor. So many people stepped up to help but only a family member would be the best match. Her mother, Lynne, has now given life to her daughter twice. Jen has to be in the hospital over a month and in isolation for months on end with strict protocol.
All I want for my friend is to kick cancers ass and live the life of her dreams which she still goes after anyway but this time fully and healthy.
Jen is ambitious, hard working, and has side hustles but this WILL NOT be enough to cover allthe bills and salary reduction that will occur due to length of time out. We must step up for Jen and support her and since we can’t be with her we need to support anyway we can financially.
Please consider donating. Most people know Jen to be so giving of her time and spirit and now it’s our turn to return the favor.
