Team,
Jeremy is the son and brother of our beloved colleagues Brenda and Angie Bercier. Jeremy has had a long-standing interaction with the medical community and has been the case study for all abnormal. Many of you are most likely aware of what Jeremy Bercier endured this past Monday. For those that may not be aware, Jeremy was diagnosed with Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy, CTEPH. The procedure was performed on Monday and was the first of its kind in MN, the inventor of the procedure from France was flown in to oversee the procedure. We are VERY HAPPY to inform you that he stood true to form and has come out of the surgery far better than expected. If you were to google the procedure to see what he endured it would certainly send shivers down your spine. While he has come through the procedure far better than expectation, he still has a very long road to recovery. With that said, due to the condition he has not been able to work leading up to this procedure and will not be able to get back to work in the foreseeable near future. While we are grateful he has insurance, we have all experienced that insurance always comes up far short from the true need.
That is where we can come in collectively as a team to help bridge a portion of the financial gap. This will help in allowing him to worry about physical recovery versus financial burden and the stress associated with such. Please give as you feel, no gift is trivial as anything we can pull together collectively will aid the cause.
