Dear friends,
Joey is a wonderful, outgoing, fun-loving man. He is a great man, and an even greater father and friend. He is always there for anyone in need. Now, it is our turn to help him and his family!
Joey went into cardiac arrest while on a cruise vacation. He was airlifted to a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he is in the ICU. The doctors have not been able to get his heart to maintain a normal rhythm, and he is too sick for any surgery.
The cost of medical on the cruise ship was $5500, not including the helicopter. This doesn't even take into account what the cost is of the ICU.
In addition to the medical expenses, his family is staying in a hotel in order to be by his side while he fights for his life. The expenses of staying in a hotel and food away from home are adding even more expense.
Any money raised will be given directly to the family to help with both the medical expenses and their daily expenses.
We, his family and friends, greatly appreciate anything you can give to help at such a trying time. Also, all prayers for his recovery and the comfort of his family would be welcome.
