Support for John&Kids after loss of Cinnamon The Art Sherpa

Hello, my name is Colleen Siegel, Community Ambassador for Cinnamon Cooney, known to many as The Art Sherpa, and I, along with Donna Cox, Operations Director, are starting this campaign to help the family with expenses after her sudden passing.

With a heavy heart, we are reaching out to you all on behalf of Cinnamon’s family, her husband John and their 3 children, Honey, Spyder and LunaBella.. Let's work together to honor her memory and provide for them during this incredibly difficult time.

Cinnamon and John's work online, teaching the world to paint was the sole source of income for their household. Now, with Cinnamon's unexpected passing, that income is no longer available at the level it once was, leaving the family in need of financial support to help them navigate the next several months as they process their grief and figure out their next steps.

How Your Donation Will Help

We are raising funds to help with immediate expenses and to give John and the children the time and space they need without the constant worry of finances. Every contribution—no matter how big or small—will make a difference.

Here’s how the funds will be allocated:

The first funds will be used for making final arrangements and immediate financial needs.

30% will be split between the children in trust funds for the day they are starting off on their own creative lives.

40% for Ongoing Living Expenses As John works to find new means of supporting his family, these funds will help cover essential living expenses such as rent, utilities, food, transportation, insurance, and clothing for the family over the foreseeable future.

30% to Keep Cinnamon's Legacy Alive

Cinnamon’s vision and her impact on so many lives through her art and teachings will live on. A portion of the donations will go toward maintaining her channel, business, and legacy, ensuring her work continues to inspire others for years to come.

Cinnamon was not just a teacher—she was a friend, a mentor,creative inspiration and bright light in the lives of so many. Her passing has left a hole in all our hearts, and this fund is a way for her community to rally around her family. We want to ensure that John and the kids are supported.
