Support for John Jairo Mosquera's Final Journey

John Jairo Mosquera’s life was taken from us abruptly by a drunk driver this past weekend. This has been the absolute worst nightmare our family wishes we could wake up from. The tragedy occurred while he was visiting his sister in Virginia. John grew up and was raised in New York. We are currently navigating the process of bringing him back home so that his loved ones can see him and say their final goodbyes. John had so much planned for the future; he wanted to rebuild himself in the best way possible. He was inspirational, always optimistic, and incredibly creative. He had a vibrant personality and always knew how to make you laugh. He was the man of the family, leaving behind five beautiful children. There was so much he still wanted to accomplish, and his life was cut tragically short. If anyone is able to assist our family with these funeral expenses, no matter how small or large, we would greatly appreciate it. We are so grateful to God that we were able to share our lives with him and that he was loved by so many.

La vida de John Jairo Mosquera nos fue arrebatada abruptamente por un conductor ebrio este pasado fin de semana. Esta ha sido la peor pesadilla de la que nuestra familia desea poder despertar. La tragedia ocurrió mientras él estaba visitando a su hermana en Virginia. John creció y se crió en Nueva York. En estos momentos estamos navegando el proceso de traerlo de regreso a casa para que sus seres queridos puedan verlo y darle su último adiós. John tenía muchos planes para el futuro; quería reconstruirse de la mejor manera posible. Era inspirador, siempre optimista e increíblemente creativo. Tenía una personalidad vibrante y siempre sabía cómo hacerte reír. Era el hombre de la familia, dejando atrás a cinco hermosos hijos. Había tanto que aún quería lograr, y su vida fue trágicamente interrumpida. Si alguien puede ayudar a nuestra familia con estos gastos funerarios, sin importar cuán pequeños o grandes sean, lo agradeceríamos enormemente. Estamos muy agradecidos con Dios de haber podido compartir nuestras vidas con él y de que fue amado por tantos.
