Support for John Lawrence’s Funeral Costs and Final Expenses

It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of John Lawrence’s passing. He was tragically taken from us in a car accident shortly after visiting with his son and newest granddaughter.

John was a loving father to Chad, and a devoted grandfather, Papa John, to his three grandchildren. He was a thoughtful brother and cool uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a former Corrections Sergeant at Lorain Correctional and retired after 31 years of service. Throughout those years John gained numerous friends, many of whom were more than just friends, they were family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. We can’t write about John and not mention the most memorable thing about him; John was a diehard, committed Steelers fan and he made sure everyone knew.

We are raising money to cover the funeral and memorial costs, as well as final expenses. Contributions can also be made in person the day of the service at Bogner Family Funeral Home in North Ridgeville, or at anytime to the family via mobile payment apps (upon request).
