Support for John R. Webster's Cremation Expenses

On July 5, 1966 John R. Webster was drafted into the United States Army to serve in the Vietnam War. He was only 19 years old. He served his country for 642 days before he was honorably discharged

He met his beloved wife Rosemary and they shared a beautiful marriage that endured for 55 years. Their family grew to include two daughters, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

The greatest joys of Johns life was spending time with Rosemary, his family., fishing, and privacy. Their marriage was a true love story. His deep admiration and love for Rosemary will

always be engrained deep in our hearts.

Recently John was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called Myleofibrosis. A disease that was contracted from time spent in Vietnam and chemicals that were used while he was serving his county. He valiantly fought that disease right up the very end. He asked his family not to share his diagnosis with anyone, and though very difficult, they respectfully respected his wishes.

John has requested no services, obituaries, or announcements to be made and to be cremated. The VA will help pay for some of the cost of transportation but, not the cremation . If you would like to send condolences to the family the address is:
