Support for John Scarpone
Donation protected
On Labor Day weekend 2022, John was diagnosed with severe Necrotizing Pancreatitis. Prior to this, he had no warning signs or symptoms that he was sick and has faced many challenges since his diagnosis. He has been in the Medical ICU at St. Luke's Bethlehem since early November and is expected to remain in the ICU for at least the next few months. Although we remain hopeful about John's recovery, there is a lot of uncertainty. He is battling a severe infection in his abdomen, which is also causing organ damage to his liver and kidneys. Due to his many surgeries, his breathing has diminished, and he is currently trached and needs assistance from a ventilator to breathe. On top of this, he has a hole in his intestines that makes it impossible for him to have a feeding tube and get the maximum nutrition he needs. With all this being said, John is a fighter and we know he will do everything within his power to fight this.
A little bit about John:
John and Connie have been married for 33+ years and have three children - Joe, Samantha and Stefanie, with their first grandchild on the way. Everyone who knows John knows he is a proud, hardworking man with a fun-loving spirit. He lights up every room he walks into and is truly the backbone of our family.
Any support you can offer - whether it’s a donation, spreading the Go Fund Me or keeping John in your thoughts and prayers – is appreciated more than you will ever know.
