Support for John Susa & Family with Cancer Battle

On February 8th, 2024, my brother-in-law (John Susa) went into Urgent Care for back pain. After several tests and blood work, he was told he likely had cancer and was scheduled with Oncology.

After a Biopsy, PET scan, and further testing, he was diagnosed with an extremely rare stage 4 metastatic high-grade spindle cell melanoma. The cancer has spread significantly. He will be starting chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment 2/28.

This has been devastating for John and family, but they maintain positivity.

If you know John, he is truly one of the most selfless, caring, funny, hard-working, positive, loving people. He really would do anything to help another person. I have had the honor of getting to have him as a father figure and a brother. His love for his children (Riley & Kali) and wife (Gretchen) is what most of us dream of.

John was told he needs to stop working (believe me, he would if he could), and focus on healing. The cost of medical therapy, having Gretchen/family take off as needed, and lack of one income will add up quickly. Any extra money would be spent on creating memories for the family.
