Support for John’s recovery and rehabilitation.

Hi it's Stevie and Lianne here John's sisters.

We are trying to raise some funds to help support with the costs surrounding the recovery and rehabilitation of John's hand.

As you all know, John is currently on a working holiday visa in Canada with the dream of making a life out there, unfortunately earlier this week John had a terrible accident at work where he put a drop saw through his hand. The injuries John sustained are horrific.

He has already had one extensive 17hour surgery where the surgeons have managed to reattached everything. John is currently in recovery after having surgery number two where they tried to save his thumb. We are still awaiting news to find out how this surgery went. As you can imagine John is left with a very long road to recovery where improvements will be slow.

We are hoping that his friends and family would be willing to make a contribution (no matter how small) to help with the costs of appointments, travel, specialists, family travel e.t.c. It's imperative John has the opportunity to stay in Canada and receive the treatment he needs from the specialists who have started treating him rather than flying home to England and receiving subpar care. Our Mum has dropped everything to be with him and advocate for his health so we should have more regular updates soon with her being there.
