Support for Jonathan Brostoff's Family
Donation protected
Milwaukee recently lost a truly dedicated public servant and community advocate, Alderman Jonathan Brostoff. Known for his boundless commitment to the city, Jonathan devoted his life to building a better Milwaukee. His absence is deeply felt by his family, friends, and community. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Diana Vang-Brostoff, and their four young children, as well as a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Throughout his career, Jonathan tirelessly worked to improve the lives of Milwaukee’s residents. As a member of the City Council for the Third District, he advocated for safer streets, sustainable urban development, and many other crucial causes. Before joining the council, Jonathan represented his community in the Wisconsin State Assembly, where he championed disability rights, even famously pledging not to cut his hair until a bill supporting American Sign Language access passed. His commitment to every cause he took on was undeniable, and his efforts made a lasting impact.
This fund has been created to help support Jonathan’s family as they cope with this loss. Donations will go toward memorial expenses and provide assistance to Diana and their children as they transition into life without him. Jonathan was not only a public servant but also a loving husband, father, son, and friend. His warmth, kindness, and fierce dedication to his community will never be forgotten.
We appreciate your support in honoring Jonathan’s memory and continuing the legacy he built within Milwaukee. Thank you for helping us remember a remarkable man who touched so many lives.
