Dear Family + Friends,
On June 7th, 2022, Jose (Dad) was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. It was a day we will never forget as a family and has brought on a lot of fear and sadness.
On July 12th, after weeks of screenings and blood work, the doctors were finally able to stage his cancer. Jose is battling Stage IV Lymphoma. His cancer has caused his spleen to grow larger than his liver and his lymph nodes to swell. After a biopsy, they also found traces of the cancer in his bone marrow.
His treatment is going to require lots of intense chemotherapy that will eventually lead to a stem cell transplant followed by more chemo. Due to the advanced stage of his cancer, Jose ( Dad) needs to be hospitalized every time he gets his chemo therapy to avoid kidney failure. Without insurance and not being able to work, this has impacted the family in the worst way.
As so many of you know, Jose is one of the best human beings you'll ever encounter. He's a hard working man and a wonderful dad. He is also the primary provider for his family, without being able to work it is going to be a very difficult financial road. We humbly ask for your help and prayers throughout this excruciating time.
Anything helps: donations, thoughts, prayers... anything.
Thank you, to each and every one of you.
-Monica, Itzel, Karen, Jose Miguel, Taylor and Ishmael.

Querida familia + amigos,
Cualquier cosa ayuda: donaciones, pensamientos, oraciones... cualquier cosa.
