Support for Josh Yamamoto's Recovery
Donation protected
On July 2, 2022, my 26 year old son, Josh Yamamoto, was involved in a terrible accident when a vehicle collided with his motorcycle. He is a very safety conscious guy and thankfully was wearing a helmet and protective gear, which saved his life. Josh suffered a traumatic brain injury, a broken femur requiring surgery and injuries to his liver, ribs and lungs. He was in the ICU for a few weeks and is currently still in the hospital until he can be transferred to a rehabilitation center to undergo intensive therapy. Josh is a Niles North High School chemistry teacher, girls track and field coach and an Augustana College All American track and field athlete, running the 400 meter hurdles and 4x400 relay. He is an incredible inspiration to everyone he has come in contact with. His infectious big smile, hearty laugh and constant positive aura makes him such an amazing and beautiful human being. He also has an intense drive, determination and immense strength from within. Funds that are raised will be used towards medical expenses, intensive rehabilitation costs, any devices or equipment that will aid in his long road to recovery and loss of wages due to the extent of his injuries. On behalf of the Yamamoto family, we greatly appreciate any contribution and thank you for your support and prayers.
