Support for Josiah’s Recovery After Devastating Car Accident.
I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of a family who is going through the unimaginable right now. Their son, Josiah, was in a horrific car accident and is currently fighting for his life. I’m asking for your prayers, your support, and, if you’re able, your financial help to ease the immense burden they’re facing.
Josiah suffered extensive injuries in the accident. He is currently intubated and in critical condition. His lung collapsed, and he has multiple fractures throughout his entire body — including both legs, both arms, ribs, and facial bones. He’s also facing dangerous arterial damage, with only one artery currently supplying blood to his brain — and that artery is compromised. The medical team is doing everything they can, but the situation is very serious.
Despite the trauma, Josiah is showing small signs of hope. When his mother told him, “I love you, buddy,” he nodded. He’s been able to move one leg and one arm during brief moments of reduced sedation. These tiny moments mean everything right now.
Current Medical Updates:
Multiple surgeries are underway to stabilize and repair broken bones.
He is receiving blood transfusions and is on blood thinners for clotting issues.
Ongoing concerns include artery damage and the risk of more blood clots.
Josiah’s journey will be long and difficult, but he’s a fighter. The family is deeply faithful and leaning heavily on prayer, but the financial needs are growing every day — hospital stays, surgeries, medications, physical therapy, and more.
A Little About Josiah: He’s always been full of life. When he was little, he used to sing the song Jesus Messiah at the top of his lungs, convinced it was “My Siah” because of his nickname “Siah Boy.” His mom says she can still hear his little voice singing it in her head — and right now, they’re clinging to that memory and to their faith as they walk through this storm.
Please consider donating if you can. Every dollar helps lift a piece of this unimaginable burden. If you’re not able to give, please, please pray for Josiah, for the doctors, for healing, and for his family.
Thank you for surrounding them with love.
