PEACE, TRUST, STRENGTH

For the past 9 months my husband had 4 failed E.R visits with a possible stomach Ulcer or acid reflux. Always being sent home after scans & procedures clearing him & just prescribed anti acid medication. Over 100lbs lost, vomiting blood , extreme fatigue & trouble ingesting food. But when not being able to eat or hardly even drink anything for 3 weeks & another 30lbs down during this time.Let alone work for the past 3 months becoming extremely concerning.

Just when we thought all our resources were coming to an end we arrived to Loma Linda Hospital.

After 2 weeks of hospital stay numerous blood drawings & procedures we now have a diagnosis.

Adenocarcinoma of the Esophagus (cancer) not the diagnosis we wanted to hear but we are thankful he now has the appropriate form of treatment to move forward.

He has had a Peg feeding tube placed to help him regain weight as fast as possible & recover nutrients lost during all those months. Also has had a chemo port placed for future treatments. We are now 2 months into this….

-PEACE-TRUST-STRENGTH-

Three words that God ministered to my heart at the beginning of this process.

Three words that have been our guide through this uncertainty of what is to come. With our faith deeply rooted in the God of miracles we will continue to feel his indescribable PEACE…..TRUST he is working……..& STRENGTH during this time.

My husband’s STRENGTH & continued TRUST alone in God is ADMIRABLE. Not only an amazing husband & my partner for 19 years! He is a loving, present father. A Hard worker & humble warrior . He has loved & supported many in their darkest moments, as well as celebrated them in their happiest.

He was our soul provider running our family business for 7years+

Unfortunately with a diagnosis like this no one is ever prepared for expenses that accompany. We don’t know what the future holds as of now ,but we know the constant driving back & forth & medical expenses for the treatment will be expensive.

In the next few days, weeks, months we know we will undergo many challenges & obstacles & reach milestones. Adjusting to the unknown, we will stay positive & strong as a family.

I please ask for continued Prayers for him, myself & our 3 children. They are immensely appreciated & needed. I ask if you can please share so others can join with us too!
