Support for Julianna's Recovery

Donation protected
Hello everyone my name is Faith and I’m looking to raise money for one of my best friend Nicole Elwell’s youngest daughters Julianna (3). Yesterday she was in the care of her father & grandfather and was left alone in the back yard near the family pool. She ended up getting in and was without oxygen for 3 minutes she is currently in the care of Mass General PICU getting great care from amazing doctors with brain activity but still not awake yet and is on life support . We are looking for donations toward anything Julianna will need medically or physically. Nicole has left her job to be there full time with Julianna and anything helps. If you cannot donate We are asking family and friends to please send flowers or a card for Julianna to wake up to. Julianna loves when people draw her pictures, if you have a little one who likes to draw please feel free to send a piece to hang up on the wall in her room. We want to make sure she knows how loved she is by so many people. You can send them to Julianna Neves at Mass General to The Bigelow 6 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). 55 Fruit st Boston, Massachusetts 02114. Thank you for reading & sharing we are hoping toward a healthy recovery and justice for this beautiful sweet girl❤️.
UPDATE
Julianna had a near drowning event where water got into her lungs and caused a severe
infection/reaction - She is now in respiratory failure and requiring a lung machine known as VV-ECMO to
help get oxygen into her blood while her lungs are not working correctly. We hope over the next days to
weeks her lungs will recover and we can get her off of this life support machine to breathing on her own
again. We are worried about whether or not her brain suffered a lack of oxygen during the drowning and
need to wait for her to come off the lung machine to be safe enough to try to wake up and obtain
pictures of her brain - we remain hopeful.

UPDATE: Juliana had an xray of her lungs and they showed some improvement. They were full of mucus and pool water and some was able to be removed in the last few days they are hoping to wake her up in a week or less, we are praying for the best outcome. ❤️
