Support for Justin, Jessica, & Kabrie Rosenberger

Yesterday, on July 9, 2020 while working in his garage an accident occurred and Justin and the garage caught on fire. The quick response from Jessica, the fire department and neighbors got the fire out quickly before it spread past the garage and to their house. Justin is currently in the hospital burn unit down at the Grossman Burn Center, in West Hills. He has sustain 2nd to 3rd degree burns on his back and 22% of his body was burned. Justin will have surgery on Monday (with probably more to come) and will be there receiving treatment for at least the next 2-3 weeks. There will be a long road of recovery for him but we have no doubt he will recovery stronger. 

Besides the obvious loss of stuff in the garage (that is being shifted through this weekend.) Both Justin and Jessica operate their own businesses. Because of Covid19 - Jessica had just started back to work and was already looking at a substantial loss of income.  Coupled with this tragedy - their income and their ability to pay for basic needs - rent, utilities, food, etc. will be greatly affected. 

As they focus on healing Justin and getting him home, the additional loss of income from Justin not being able to work during this time and the need for Jessica to work less so that she can care for Kabrie and Justin is going to be substantial. Any and all help that can be given to support them is greatly appreciated! Being able to take away some of the financial burden they are feeling during this time so that they can focus on healing and recovery would be  HUGE blessing for this family.  

Additionally, the unknown cost medically will place an additional burden on their family along with the inability for Kabrie or Jessica to be with their daddy and husband at the hospital, because of COVID19, will take an emotional toll. 

The outpouring of support has already been huge and we are so thankful for this Carpinteria community. Justin, Jessica and Kabrie love our community and are constantly showing up and supporting so many people here and now it is our time to show up for them. Let us continue to surround this local family with our love, support and prayers.
