Support for Kelly Heard's Cancer Treatment

Kelly Heard is the PSM Coordinator at the Ramsey Gas Processing Plant in Orla, TX. On September 12, 2018 she was diagnosed with a rare form of Stage 2 Metastatic Squamous Neck Cancer with occult primary to the salivary glands. This is a fast spreading cancer in which they found she had several large tumors in her salivary glands and throughout 80% of the glands in her body.
She has completed two rounds of chemotherapy and six radiation treatments. She was originally told surgery would not be an option but after the second chemo round and PET scan, the doctors found that the cancer responded well to the treatment and determined the opportunity for surgery would be possible.
Kelly had surgery on March 27, 2019 to remove salivary glands, adenoids, tonsils and a portion of her thyroid. She will now face another round of radiation.
We would like to help Kelly with any expenses she has accumulated during this hardship. A burrito breakfast as well as a hamburger lunch have been hosted at the Kermit Office, Mentone Plant and Ramsey Plants, and the Financial Security Credit Union in Carlsbad, NM is taking donations in person under the "Kelly Heard Fundraiser" name, however we would like to extend those working outside of the WTX field offices the chance to support Kelly in her recovery and continued treatments.
As a PSM Coordinator, Kelly works to keep us safe and this is our opportunity as a team at Anadarko to return the favor in whatever way we can. Please consider a donation and/or say a prayer for Kelly and her family. God Bless.
