On Going Support for Kelly's Family After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
Kelly has been trying incredibly hard to ensure that Josh’s name is not forgotten and that he’s not just another statistic.
Kelly has been in constant contact with the ride share union and working closely with PBOT and others to ensure that no other family has to endure such a tragic loss.
Please continue to share and support Kelly while she navigates this new normal and fights for ride share driver safety in memory of her husband Josh.

Kelly’s husband picked up his last fare in the late evening hours of June 4, 2024. This rider was booked under a false name and when Josh arrived at the address; someone opened fire. The intended target, was Josh’s passenger.
Josh lost his life due to gang violence. The perpetrator is still unknown.
About Josh:
He was a husband, father, son and friend. He was selfless and serving. Josh would take the extra time to talk with his riders when working and earned a diamond status with Uber, which is pretty difficult to attain.
Josh stepped up for Kelly’s two kids Dakota and Colton when they met; he would include them in everything they did. Josh and Kelly were later blessed with a son Gabe. Kelly and her three kids now have to navigate life without Josh’s love, support and guidance.
