Support for Kelsey Hale and Family

As I struggle to write this on behalf of the Hale family, I would like to update those that care about and love Kelsey and share how she is doing. She has always been such a light in our lives. Outgoing, funny, and has one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known.

As most of you know, Kelsey has struggled with addiction. That addiction has taken over her life before, and she has rallied and come out the other side. We pray to the Lord that she will rally again and that this experience will soon be in the past.

I am sad to share that Kelsey is currently in the ICU at Kootinai County hospital and on life support. Although the doctors are being optimistic about what the future holds for Kelsey, the reality is we do not know yet if she will make it through. If she does, she will have a very long recovery in front of her. Either way, the family will face financial hardship they could never prepare for.

With limited money and resources, the family is asking that you consider donating to this Go Fund Me to assist Kelsey and her family with the financial support they will need. The extent of the support they need is still to be determined. Once we know more about Kelsey’s prognosis, we will know where funds are needed most. There will be a long list of medical expenses already incurred, and if she does not pull through, the family will need help to pay for her burial. As we all struggle financially in this world of ours these days, I’d like to say in advance, thank you for any contribution you can make and if you are unable to financially contribute, please know that your prayers have a value higher than any dollar amount can provide so please keep them coming.
