Support for Kenny Brody

Most of us who know Kenny Brody have met him through our mutual love of music.  He has been so supportive of everyone in our local blues community and beyond. He also happens to be one of the kindest, sweetest guys you will ever meet. Now he needs our help. 

Many of you know that one morning a few months ago, Kenny woke up with no feeling in his legs. He had back surgery and then began the long slow process of rehab. He has been in hospital and then rehab since before Thanksgiving. He is in a wheelchair and still has no feeling in his legs. 

Now his insurance company is pulling the plug and sending him home. He is not ready, but he has no other options. He needs some modifications in his home in order to make it accessible. He is also going to need home health care which is not covered by insurance. We are talking about a minimum of 21 hours a week at a cost of $25 per hour. That is $2250 per month.

Please consider helping our dear friend by donating what you can. He should only have to focus on getting well without the added stress of wondering how he can pay for this essential care.

I have seen what this community can do when we join forces. If everyone whose life has been touched by Kenny could donate a little it would all add up. Let's show Kenny that he is not alone.
