Support for Kim Loomis

Our great friend Steve Loomis passed away 5 years ago now, leaving behind many friends and family members who will forever think of him often and miss him dearly.

Fast forward to where we are today - after taking on the challenge of owning and maintaining her dad's home after his passing, Steve's daughter Kim has been spread thin: juggling her two children (Mikey, 6, and Sicily, 4), dealing with obstacles at home, searching for a secure job to support herself and her children, trying to figure out a financial plan for the future after her long-term relationship going sour.

Despite finding a steady job as a bus driver that allows some flexibility with the kids, her tough financial spot is leading her to sell the house. Newly discovered mold and water issues are further complicating the situation. Besides the health threat of living with the mold, until both issues are remediated, the sale price of the house would be severely affected, or the sale potentially even blocked completely.

Some of Steve's friends have already completed some handywork and repairs at the house, with more work scheduled in the next few weeks. Kim could really use some of the same village that stepped up for her when her dad passed to do what they can one more time.

We only want the best for Kim, Mikey and Sicily, and want to help set them up for a safe and successful future just like Steve would do. Anything you can give is deeply appreciated.
