Support for Kim while Myla is in the hospital

My sweet 15 year old niece Myla, has been in the hospital since Oct 4th with a serious staph infection that has caused high fevers and significant inflammation and pain in all of her joints. The infection then got into her blood steam and she turned septic. And though Myla is making small improvements, (like getting out of bed and taking 3 steps on her own), thank you God! They still have a very long road to go to full recovery and to regain her strength. She has been in intense pain as the doctors have been diligently trying to help find the cause and ways to treat her. My sister is a single, divorced, working Mom w 3 kids and has been unable to work these last 2 weeks due to not wanting to leave Myla’s side as much as possible. So many people have been praying an already offered assistance w food and beyond, which is so appreciated. As many of you can imagine the stress, pain and torture that comes with watching your child sick and in pain with no way to help is not something anyone should have to feel. In order to relieve some of Kim’s financial worries as she stays at the hospital, we are asking for help to pay her rent and car bill this month as she is coming up short. We know everyone is struggling financially right now and anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated! Our hearts have been breaking along side the Johnson family, but thankfully there does seem to be light at the end of this tunnel!
