Support for Kinsley Smith & Family

Hi everyone! My name is Darci, AKA guy guy. I am Kinsley’s cousin and home health nurse. I have created this go fund me on behalf of my Aunt Casey and her sweet little girl Kinsley to help support their family during an unexpected difficult time right now. On Friday, June 3rd Kinsley went into Children’s Hospital for a routine tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Unfortunately, her post op journey has been complicated by what they feel is pulmonary hypertension and aspiration pneumonia. Because of this, Kinsley is still intubated and on a ventilator. She is sedated and chemically paralyzed. Her medical team seems hopeful she will make a full recovery, but unsure in what time since each child is different and we all know Kinsley does things on her own timeline.

My aunt works as a resource ICU nurse casually. She made the leap to go casual a few years ago to have more flexibility in her schedule to be available for all of Kinsley’s prior medical issues and unfortunately does not receive PTO. My uncle works as a teacher and will be off for the summer. No parent should have the financial burdens while their child is sick.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will go towards gas, groceries, medical bills, and any other issues that may arise throughout this trying time.
