Support For Krystal and Family

Hey everyone, if you’re here thank you for taking the time to read the following message.

This is really hard and vulnerable but as the single mother taking care of an entire household I need to ask our community for support in this difficult time. 



Recently my employment shifted from full time employment to very limited part time shifts and while I’m currently looking for more work to be able to support myself and my family, however I need some financial support in the meantime.



I want to make sure that my children aren’t at risk of losing the home we have been so fortunate to find. The idea of having to upset their routines if we were to lose this housing fills me with fear in this time where the level of income I need to support us is not guaranteed.

I am asking through this go fund me for financial support to cover 2 months of rent and some crucial bills to alleviate stress while I work hard to secure other options for our future. I am looking for more full time work, and will also spend this time looking for a commercial location to turn into another safe space available to the community.



If you know me and the work that I do — you know I can’t sit still for long, This go fund me is a tough ask but one that I feel is necessary when the rug got pulled out from under me unexpectedly. It’s been a really hard way to start 2025. I have a goal of creating a new hub in the community where I can ultimately create an inclusive space for events, artists, musicians, all of you friends and community members — a safe space for everyone. With your support through this go fund me I will have time available to search for more work as well as seek out a commercial space. When I’m able to secure another job to support myself and my family it will be possible to work more specifically towards that next big dream.

We have been planning an exciting fundraising event that is specifically meant to support the commercial rent & startup needs of our next community space — look out for more information later this winter — but the reality is my family needs help right now. For full transparency this go fund me’s purpose is to support myself and my three children and our little village that live together under one roof. If I’m able to alleviate the financial stress in this moment it will open up more opportunities for me to research and connect and work towards my future job security.



I love what I was able to help create in London, and while this transition period has been one of incredible loss for me emotionally I know that what I created will find new life in the future. I’m trying to keep this hope alive while I adjust to this new normal. The fear of losing what I’ve worked hard to secure for my family along with my current lack of full time work makes this a really scary and vulnerable time for me.
