Support for LaNicia Williams

LaNicia Williams, founder of the Oregon Coast Love Coalition, has worked for the past several months in order to bring our rural coastal community together to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  This is the 2nd year she has organized the celebration as a volunteer.  A series of events over the week-end provided meaningful opportunities for dialogue, service, and celebration that focused on diversity, justice, connection, inclusion and LOVE, as well as conversations about the work ahead to make these things a reality for all who live in and visit our community. 

LaNicia has not been earning money during these months of planning and preparation. She has found housing in Tillamook provided through part-time employment and is taking steps to find additional paid work.

This funding would pay for basic expenses for two months to cover food, car insurance, gas and  incidentals. 

Let's give back to LaNicia for the treasures of diverse community connection that she gives to us.
