Support for Larry McCreary

My name is Jen, and Larry has been a friend of mine since our childhood years at Fishing Creek Elementary School. Facebook and online games like Words With Friends, Trivia Crack and Wordle have kept us in touch daily.

Larry was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in March 2022. He continued to work throughout his chemotherapy treatments, sometimes passing out at work or home. But he would continue to persevere, finishing his treatment and showing up to work in which he would be on his feet for 10 hours each day.

In October, Larry had a wound on his right foot which became infected. This resulted in an amputation of his big toe. Larry wanted to work, but had to take some time off to recover. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough. The morning of November 19, the doctors had to remove the remaining toes of his right foot to prevent further infection.

Larry will no longer be able to work, and could use the support of his family and friends during this difficult time. Those who know Larry well, understand he would never ask for help himself, and is extremely humble.
