Support for Larry's Heroic Legacy

Donation protected
On Saturday, June 29th, the town of Mikana suffered a real tragedy with the drowning of one of their well-loved and revered members of the community, Larry Quillen, also lovingly known as Papa Bear to his four grandchildren. Larry had taken his two 9-year-old grandsons fishing and swimming in the same river that his father had taken him when he himself was a small boy. One of the boys got in trouble and Larry was able to get both boys safe before being swept away by the current. Larry is a HERO for saving the boys and will always be their guardian angel. As you can only imagine, his loving wife Carol is beyond devastated that she lost the love of her life. She is disabled and Larry was not only her loving and devoted husband, but he was also her caregiver. He adored her and it was always obvious when you saw the two of them together. A true love story in itself.

Donations are welcome to help offset final expenses and future care of his wife.
