Support for Layna and family while Layna heals

Hi, I am Layna's grandmother.

On the morning of April 28th Layna was out for an early morning walk near her home and was involved in a hit-and-run. The vehicle hit her and drove off. She suffered a severely broken back, has had surgery and has just been moved to the rehabilitation ward.

This recovery from this accident is going to be a long journey. 3-4 months in the spinal cage and rehab from 6- 12 months. She will be unable to work or drive for several months. This lack of funds leaves Layna and her family in a precarious position, unable to meet their daily expenses including housing, electricity, vehicle expenses and food.

As Layna’s friends and family, we are hoping to organize some financial support for her as she journeys through this long healing road.
