Support for Leila

Dear Community, As some of you already know and many of you will learn in this message, Leila's Mom, after battling cancer since August of last year, passed away on Saturday.  She was with her mother in her final moments and is being supported by friends and family during this tender time.    Leila's Mom was her best friend.  If you had the pleasure of meeting Barbara you would know how powerful their bond was.  She was loving and strong and amazing.  Unfortunately, this loss puts Leila in a very difficult position emotionally and also financially.  She will need support from her community as she transitions into this new phase of her life. If you are called to help Leila currently she is open to monetary donations through this GoFundMe campaign. The money that we send go towards her mother's memorial services, repass, and also toward her mother's mortgage payment for the house in Berkeley that was Leila's childhood home and the house that they lived in together during her Mom's illness.  Any amount you can give will help Leila with these unexpected and very important expenses.
