Support for Leonardo Salas

 Leonardo Salas: Marine, Local 208 Pipefitter & Family man from Pueblo, Colorado.

 Leonardo works for Apollo Mechanical as a 5th year apprentice to support his family of 3 beautiful daughters, 1 handsome son and his loving wife.  He is very family oriented, loves the outdoors, and is always helping others in need.  He is loved by many and is constantly making others laugh.

While at Local 208 Pipefitter Apprentice Training School on Monday July 20, Leonardo was rushed to the hospital for severe chest pains.  Leonardo was immediately admitted and rushed into heart surgery for an Aortic Aneurysm. Leonardo remained in the hospital for nearly a week recovering from the massive surgery. He is bruised all over, in severe pain but still keeping his spirits up.

Leonardo and his family are confused, scared and stressed of the unexpected challenges and bills that are stacking up with the current events.  They all feel incredibly blessed Leonardo is here today and slowly improving each day.  The road ahead is going to be long and challenging for Leonardo as he recovers from heart surgery as he is unable to work for several months. Mrs. Salas also is unable to work as she is taking care of Leonardo.

The Salas family welcomes any support and continued prayers for Leonardo’s recovery.  Anything helps and is greatly appreciated.
