*UPDATE 07/01/2023: Lily is home! She is recuperating under the full-time care of her mom and getting better each day. She’s enjoying rolling around the neighborhood in her wheelchair and practicing using her walker. Lily has a very long, complicated recovery ahead of her, so please continue to send out those prayers and positive thoughts. You are making a difference!

*UPDATE 6/26/2023* (from Lily)The past 10 days has been overwhelming as you can imagine. What happened to me and the other victims on June 17th at the Gorge was an unthinkable tragedy. My deepest sympathies goes out to the other victims and their families/friends who have been affected. I am still processing it all and will be for a long time. Currently, I am still hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center, but every day I am improving under the care of my nurses, doctors, family and close friends. My recovery is going well, but it is difficult as I try to stay optimistic. I would like to thank my family, friends, my local community and strangers who have been supporting me, sending well wishes and praying for me. It is felt and is giving me the strength I need to fight. I wish you all well and thank you so much! *UPDATE 6/24/23* Sweet Lily had a rough night with a lot of pain. Thank goodness for her mom, rockstar nurses and care. We were hopeful she could go home sooner than later but unfortunately, she has at least a few more days in the hospital. Thank you for your sending positive thoughts and sharing this page with others.*Update 6/23/23* Lily underwent back surgery yesterday to remove the bullet from her back. Surgery went well, and she is doing OK. Your support means so much and words cannot express her gratitude and appreciation. Keep sending good vibes. The days/months/years ahead of recovery will be Lily’s toughest challenge yet.*Dear Friends & Family, We are reaching out to you with broken hearts to ask for for support of Lily Luksich. Lily was the victim of gun shot violence at a concert on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Two bullets caused significant injuries to Lily’s foot, leg, pelvic bones and internal organs. After extensive surgery at the Moses Lake Trauma Center she was airlifted to Harborview Hospital in Seattle on Monday evening. She remains in the trauma ICU while a huge team of doctors and nurses care for her. Lily has suffered life-altering injuries both physically and emotionally. She is an amazing athlete and student. Her smile brightens everyone’s day and her love for her friends and family is unconditional. Unfortunately, she has a long and very challenging road ahead for recovery. We humbly ask for your support in easing some of the financial burdens this devastating tragedy has (& will) create. With some financial relief, Lily will be able to focus on her recovery. She is an incredibly tough young woman and we all know she can get through this in due time. Right now her family needs all the love, prayers, karma, positive vibes you have. Thank you, for your love and support of Lily and her family. You are appreciated.
