Support for loving nana Kim during medical crisis

Hello friends,
Many of you may know Kim and Boyd either from their time on the road touring with their children’s band Eisley, or personally from their work or church communities in Tyler, TX. They are some of the most loving, gracious people on this planet, parents to 6 children, and the incredible Nana & Poppy of 15 grandchildren. (Yes 15!!!!)
Over the past several years, Kim has suffered from multiple illnesses including diabetes, heart disease, Lyme disease, and most recently syncope (resulting in nearly daily dangerous fainting spells).
In September 2020, just as her grandson Jonah was being born, Kim was hospitalized and was faced with a very scary scenario of coding in front of her husband, Boyd. Since then, Boyd has had to juggle caring for her, working from home, and all of the stress and financial loss of hospital care and the COVID pandemic.
Most recently, on 11/16/2020 Kim fell and very very seriously broke her ankle. She was transferred to the hospital and is currently back home awaiting potential surgery in the future. This is a huge blow to both of them, with Kim being in unimaginable physical and emotional pain during this time, and Boyd not being able to fully focus on her or have any assistance. The potential outlook of her future is very bleak at this time and we are praying for a miracle for a long and healthy life for her.
Since Kim is high-risk and bed-ridden, her year has been filled with a lot of grief surrounding her circumstances, and Boyd as well. Even though they face these obstacles, they are praying and confident in a miracle from God during this time. They push through daily and try to focus on tangible ways to move forward as healthy as possible with nutrition and supplements in addition to astronomically expensive medical bills and prescriptions. They do not have access to affordable healthcare at this time, as Kim is 60 and has preexisting conditions.
We know times are extremely tough for everyone right now, but if you are in a position to give even a few dollars, know that every tiny bit helps so that Boyd can focus more on Kim and potentially take some time off for her recovery. We are so grateful for any amount and will keep you posted on her health as things progress. Thank you so much!
