Support for Luis' Family in Their Time of Loss

To our Washington Heights Community,

We at The Uptown Garrison and Saggio Ristorante on West 181st Street tragically and suddenly lost our beloved Luis Zamora Rodriguez. He has been a part of the fabric of our community for nearly fifteen years.

He is survived by his beautiful wife and four year old daughter. Luis was the definition of a family man. It was so profoundly clear how devoted he was to his family.

Luis was the hardest worker, always one step ahead, and never complained. He came in everyday with a smile that brightened the restaurants. His presence will be greatly missed.

The grief his family and friends are experiencing is unimaginable. As an ode to Luis and his family we want to raise money to cover the costs of all funeral services, hospital bills, and provide money directly to his wife and daughter as they mourn this incredible loss.

Services will be held in The Bronx on Friday June 14, 2024. More details to be announced.
