Support for Maddy Grace

Maddy had a mountain bike accident on the 23rd of December in Derby which has left her with a serious spinal cord injury affecting her lower body. Maddy was stabilised in Hobart and has been transferred to Melbourne where she will remain for the next several months.

The initial prognosis from Maddy's medical team is that she will be unable to move her body from below her waist. However, Maddy is very determined to exceed their expectations and is feeling positive about her recovery and rehabilitation.

Maddy and her family have been inundated with messages of support, kind gestures and offerings of assistance.

After suggestions from friends and family, I have set up this platform as a way for people to help support Maddy if they wish to. Funds raised on this platform will go directly to Maddy’s recovery including covering the cost of any medical bills, equipment, and for designing and building a safe and accessible space where Maddy can live.
