Hola familia y amigos. Mi mamá Magdalena Castro fue hospitalizada el 6 de Septiembre. Después de varios días internada en el hospital y numerosos estudios, fue diagnosticada con SRCC un tipo de cáncer muy agresivo. Aparte del cáncer, una obstrucción en el ducto biliar, líquidos es su abdomen y pulmones. Debido a su debilidad y deshidratación el pronóstico no era muy bueno. Mi madre tenía que decir entre cirugía y quimioterapia con muy bajas expectativas de vida o irse a casa en hospicio a lado de sus seres queridos y disfrutar sus últimos momentos. Mi mami decidió irse a casa en hospicio. Esta semana tuvimos días buenos y malos. Mis hermanos, tías y familia hicimos todo lo posible y de todo corazón para que ella estuviese bien y agusto. Ayer a las 4 de la tarde mi madre quedó inconsciente. Por ahora nos queda solo esperar el momento en que Dios decida llevarla con el. Les pido de sus oraciones para toda la familia y cualquier ayuda para prepararnos para su despedida que puede ser en cualquier momento.

En el momento que termine de escribir esto lamentablemente mi madre falleció.

Hello family and friends. My mother Magdalena Castro was hospitalized on September 6th. After several days in the hospital and numerous tests, she was diagnosed with SRCC, a very aggressive type of cancer. Apart from cancer, a blockage in the bile duct, fluids in the abdomen and lungs. Due to her weakness and dehydration the prognosis was not very good. My mother had to choose between surgery and chemotherapy with very low life expectancy or going home in hospice with her loved ones and enjoying her last moments. My mom decided to go home to hospice. This week we had good and bad days. My siblings, aunts and family did everything possible and with all our heart so that she was well and comfortable. Yesterday at 4 pm my mother became unconscious. For now we just have to wait for the moment when God decides to take her with him. I ask for your prayers for the entire family and any help to prepare for her farewell, which could be at any time.

At the time I finished writing this, unfortunately my mother passed away.
