Support for Makalu

11 years ago my sweet nephew Makalu was diagnosed with brain cancer. Unfortunately, there is no cure for his cancer. So, his journey to date, is nothing short of miraculous!

Recently, one of his tumors had a bleed and he was hospitalized. Some things for him have changed since then. He is now on a weekly chemo regime, is no longer able to attend school and some of his independence for every day activities, like walking have been altered. We continue to see progress but he is currently working from a new baseline.

My hope is to support his independence by asking for any donation to help with the purchase of some medical equipment (i.e. a walker to go outside etc.), not covered by insurance, to ease the burden of the unexpected costs.
