Support for Mandi Jo, Tobey & Hendrix

Mandi Jo & Tobey’s eight year old son, Hendrix David Avery, has been hospitalized at CHOG in Augusta, Georgia since December 16, 2023. In the aftermath of his medical emergency, he has endured treatment, including but not limited to, intubation, CPR, EMCO, kidney failure, dialysis, blood transfusions, seizures, and 17 surgeries in 40 days including a leg amputation. Ultimately diagnosed with sepsis, C-Diff and Toxic Megacolon the initial cause of his aliment remains unknown.

As you can imagine, Mandi Jo and Tobey will continue to be by Hendrix’s side indefinitely causing a complete loss of income which is the last thing they need to be concerned about at this moment in time.

You may be asking yourself, $3,639 is an oddly specific original goal. The amount of the goal is my way of including Mandi Jo’s father, Deputy David Gilstrap, who (as most of us already know) was killed in the line of duty in 2008… 3639 was Mr. David’s badge number.
