Support for Marci, Dave & Leilani

 Marci, Dave, and their precious dog, Leilani moved to Hawaii last November to enjoy retirement and put every last penny they had into building their dream home. It took months of hard work, blood, sweat and many tears to accomplish everything, but they finally moved in, in the beginning of March. After a month of bliss in their beautiful new home, the active Kilauea volcano started rumbling. Large fissures started appearing all over their neighborhood, and Marci, Dave, and Leilani were forced to evacuate Wednesday evening. They are safe and staying on the other side of the island in Kailua-Kona. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for their home. Today we received confirmation that their home had been invaded by the lava and engulfed in flames.  Fortunately, Marci was paranoid building a home near an active volcano and was one of few who had lava insurance. But the insurance won't replace the precious memories or family heirlooms that were lost in the flames. We want to raise money for essentials in the time it takes to wait for this disaster to be over. I cannot even begin to imagine what it must feel like to not only lose something you built with your own bare hands, but to lose everything you have and worked so hard for. So I'm asking for your kindness and generosity in this time of need to help support my parents and Leilani. They're in need of essentials.
