Support for Maria Lee's Medical Journey

Our colleague, Mrs. Maria Lee, was recently given devastating news regarding her health. Several years ago, Maria and her sons, Tim and AJ, suddenly lost their husband/father Jeff. This forced Maria to become a single mother and sole provider for Tim and AJ. While being a teacher is a rewarding profession, it is not financially rewarding in NYC. We are creating a donation page to ask for help from our colleagues and community during this difficult time.

Maria is a daughter, widow, mother and teacher. Mrs. Lee, has been a beloved member of the PS 24 community for over 20 years and has touched the lives of so many children, teachers and families. Her impact on the community is immeasurable. Mrs. Lee has always gone above and beyond to help others, especially as a Special Education teacher, working with the neediest students in our school community.

Mrs. Lee has always been there for the P.S. 24 community, now, we are asking for the community to show their love and support for Mrs. Lee in. her time of need.
