Support for Maria’s family

I am fundraising to help Maria’s daughter with expenses from her Mom’s recent and unexpected death. Maria was a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker in Lexington. We worked together in several transactions and became friends. Maria always went out of her way to help. She was a strong and driven woman that loved everybody.

Her daughter, Jessica, is 36 weeks pregnant with Maria’s first grandchild. Maria will not be around to help these last weeks of her pregnancy and I did not want her struggling with the extra expenses she is now facing. She will not have access to Maria’s funds for 2-4 weeks but has immediate expenses of the cremation, utilities and her mortgage. I want her to be able to focus on the upcoming arrival of her son and not the added stress of these additional expenses. Jessica has suffered through 2 miscarriages. She took leave from work the beginning of the year to play it safe during the last months of her pregnancy. The successful and healthy birth of this baby is more important now than ever… he is almost here! His Momma has just had to go through a very difficult loss.

Jessica works as an EMT for Garrard Co and her husband John works as a firefighter in Lexington.

Maria and Jessica immigrated here from Germany. Jessica is married but has no other family here in the States. The support she has received by those that loved and knew Maria will be what she needs to get through this difficult time.
