Dustin and Cristina Medlin welcomed their little girl Marlee Botero Medlin on July 15.
Marlee came in at 5 lbs, 4 oz and was 18 inches long. Mom and baby were both healthy for the first 24 hours then Marlee started needing some extra attention. Marlee had a couple episodes where her oxygen and heart rate had dropped. Marlee was Life Flighted from Boone Hospital to Children's Mercy in Kansas City where she is being cared for. Doctors have run about 100 tests and haven't been able to figure out the problem. Right now, they believe it's something Marlee will hopefully grow out of.
We are starting this as a way to support the family with any current and future medical expenses and help them focus on what's most important, getting Marlee home.
