Support for Marty's Family After Tragic Loss

Extremely unexpectedly, I lost my better half & my best friend, my husband of 16 years. Our 4 kids lost their daddy and our 2 grandbabies lost their Pappy.

Not a lot of people know that he lost his job he cherished in May, leading to some of the hardest times we’ve endured, resulting in the loss of our home. We moved into a month-to-month apartment while waiting for him to get a full-time job while I took over on bills. Unfortunately, Marty’s life sadly ended on August 12 of 2024. He left behind four beautiful children, 2 gorgeous granddaughters, myself his wife of nearly 13 years after close to 16 years together, a loving family, and endless amazing friends that he’d always call family. Due to the circumstances at the time of his passing, our son and I are now left searching for a new permanent living situation.

I am working, and have been maintaining our bills myself for the last few months however, I do not make enough to save a dime and as unexpected as everything is, I did not have anything set aside or put back. As you know, we are both not people that ever ask for any type of help. So much so that I have hesitated for five days on going live with this GoFundMe. However, I know that it would be almost impossible for me to financially secure us a new apartment. There is an apartment complex that we were approved for previously, I just put in an application for it by myself so we will see how that one looks come Monday. We have still not been able to gain access into our apartment. We have to wait for police to give a warrant for my entry, even though we live there. This has caused me to have to spend money on hotel rooms all week. Services are being planned for this next Thursday, any help you can provide will relieve a great deal of stress from my shoulders as I am already so overwhelmed with the unknown circumstances and being the only provider for Kolton and myself. Our 1 vehicle is not in working condition and I’ll need a new car to get our kiddo to school and for myself to get to work and back. Any help given will go directly to Marty’s services, or into savings to be used for day-to-day living and/or a down payment on a well-loved vehicle.

I know he left the earth with so many unanswered questions, I’ll never know the answer to. I do know we’ve both fought a silent battle for years now. If that thought crossed your mind. The feeling that myself and our family feel right now are absolutely unexplainable.
